As a first year project, we were given a brief to design and make a lightweight and stable seat for the contract market. It must be able to be mass or batch produced and uses metal as the main constructional material. 

Since Steel is often associated as being quite cold and unwelcoming, I have used it in a way of making it appear fluid. The vibrant blue gives it a bold, playful look making it perfect for brightening an outdoor seating area.

Due to the entire frame being made from just two different sized bending components, it can be easily and cheaply mass produced on a large scale.
